Matt Walker


Matt Walker started dancing at the age of 3 where he studied tap, ballet, modern and jazz at the Jeanne Bamforth School of dancing. At the age of 16 Matt co-founded The Urban Dance School that is now established across the south east of England delivering over 10 weekly classes and celebrating their 10 year official anniversary this year.

Matt did his professional training at The Urdang Academy and as a dancer his performance artist credits include dancing for One direction, Roll Deep, J2k, Arjun, Loveable Rogues, Guy Ivory, Gary Go, Ladee Lush, Cheryl Cole, Mariah Carey and Chris Brown aswell as performing at a wide range of prestigious international events and venues including The Royal Opera House, London Palladium, Wembley Arena, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Millennium Stadium, Birmingham Arena, Twickenham Stadium and at Cannes Film Festival. Matt has also appeared in the films The Nutcracker: The Untold Story and Legacy as well as in ITV’s Britannia High and the UK movie premiers for High School Musical 3 and Adam Sandler’s Bedtime Stories.

As a Choreographer/Creative director Matt has received 9 choreography awards, some of these for his work with his professional dance company Ombrascura Dance that he co-founded in 2008. He has also choreographed music videos and national & international performances for recording artists Ladee Lush, Sassy-An, DotStar, L, Young Don, NY, Gfresh, Gurindeer Seagul and aswell as amassing a choreography and performance client list for Disney, BBC2, Channel5, House of Fraiser, Criminal Clothing, Coca Cola, Dance Challenge, Paco Rabanne, Pearl Izumi, Budweiser, Quicksilver, Dettol, FIFA World Cup, Harlequins Rugby, Surrey Storm Netball and Sky Sports.

Damien Anyasi

London born and bred, Damien has danced in excess of 12 years, having previously been a student at The London Music School as a vocalist.
In his professional dance career,  Damien has achieved a number of interesting posts. He was invited to join the choreographic team for the London Olympics Opening ceremony, and also performed. Damien has performed at Wembley Arena, The O2 (Brit Awards) and in Trafalgar Square (Chinese New Year), and is the co-founder of The Waacktitioners, UK’s first waacking crew.
Competing as a dancer has taken Damien to Czech Republic, Sweden and France, and he is a fair and respected judge across the UK scene.
In 2006 he taught his first class and have since gone on to create hip-hop education company, B-Better ( B-Better, as a collective, have taught classes and run workshops all over the country and their current project is focused on the capital.
Personally, Damien has been invited to teach in Russia, Sweden, Ukraine, Spain, Azerbaijan and the Dominican Republic, with have a strong reputation for helping a student discover skills they are yet to unlock or have long since suppressed. This is Damien’s expertise. The dance styles Damien specialise in are bboying (‘breakdance’), hip-hop and waacking, whilst he is also competent in popping, vogue and hustle.

Damien is a reputed host and both public and motivational speaker. He was the main stage host at MOVE IT 2018.

Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton


Since graduating from the Urdang Academy Rohan has worked both commercially and in theatre.

He has appeared in Mary Poppins (National tour), Hairspray (West End), Riverdance (International tour), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (National tour), Hair (Munich, Germany), Some Like It Hip-Hop (West end and National Tour) and The Scottsboro Boys (West End).

He has also appeared as a backing dancer for Recording artists such as Beverly Knight, Lemar, Craig David and Kanye West.

Page Barrington


Page found his passion for dance as a young teenager in South London’s Deptford Albany Youth Scheme where he was introduced to Acting, Singing, Dancing & Performing of which he enjoyed all. From there he went on to train with RJC (Reggae Jazz and Contemporary) Company Youth Scheme ‘Young Men Dancing’ based in Brixton, here his dance ability was discovered which lead to him appearing in multiple performances and tours for the company. He then studied a BTEC in Performing Arts and later gained a CYQ Level 2 certificate in ‘Instructing Health Related Exercise’

Page is the Original winner of the UKs first Televised Dance Competition ‘Bump and Grind’ on Trouble TV – from there he began his 12 years of professional dancing career . During his career Page has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the theatre and music industry.

He has taught at colleges/schools in London including- 
Millennium Performing Arts college, the BRIT school and Italia Conti Ruislip. His styles specialise in Hip Hop, Breaking, Bboying, Acro, Flexibility and Contortion.
Page is an Official Member of ‘Flawless’ dance group. Their work has not only inspired and expanded the UK dance community but has taken them around the world to many prestigious events sharing this gift.

Kieron Providence


Kieron Started his Dance Career through amateur shows with a local youth street dance group in 2003.

In 2005 he went to the Urdang academy for performing arts, where he studied Musical theatre and continued his street dance training with members of bird gang, Jimmy Williams and many professionals. Upon graduating in 2008 he dove deeper in to the knowledge of the funk style whilst studying under the tutelage of Fredrick folk of the realness.

Kieron has been an Active teacher since 2005 and a professional Performer/Choreographer since 2008.

Josh (Big Ball) Barlow

Josh Barlow

Josh Barlow has been dancing now for 14 years, starting at the age of 11 and instantly found love for the art. Josh began his dance journey training at The Urban Dance School (U.D.S) itself training in hip hop, popping, waving, Breakin, house and street dance choreography.

Over the years Josh has performed for The Urban Dance school many times in shows and venues such as the Grey area, Be Italian, 10 year anniversary, Woking SLAM, Royal opera house, Rhoda McGraw theatre and many more.

In 2012 Josh was successful in his audition for the professional dance company Ombrascura Dance, which he continues to dance and train with to this day.

Josh has been teaching for U.D.S since 2015, and feels passionate about the company and passing on new skills to others.

Some of Josh’s credits include, 02, Ladee Lush, Sky sports, Surrey Storm, Legacy the movie (Universal studios), 50 years of Bollywood (Eventim Apollo), Wembley arena, Jump off, Dance challenge, Move it 2017, and F. Hinds.

Amy (Loves To) Cook

Amy Cook
Amy started dancing at the age of 9 at The Urban Dance School. She then found a passion for it and went to train dance and performing arts at college.
Once Amy left college she started to train in professional hiphop and contemporary companies such as Ombrascura Dance and Boadicea, she then started working as a professional dancer.
Credits include dancing for The Vamps, Conor Maynard, McBusted, Katy B, Little Mix and big brands such as Burberry, Adidas, Aquafina, Honda and many more.
